Frequently asked
Plain English.
No surprises.
The questions teams ask before buying — answered without marketing-speak.
Bundle & pricing
- Is the bundle really a one-time payment?
- Yes. $99 once. No subscription. After year one, an optional $49/yr renewal lets you keep receiving packs released after that date — but it's opt-in. You never get auto-charged.
- What is the difference between Standard and Extended licenses?
- Standard ($99): 5 designers/devs per team, 5,000 icons per project, unlimited projects. Extended ($499): removes the per-project cap, raises seat count to 25, and adds resale rights for templates, themes, and plugins. Most teams need Standard. Full license terms →
- Do you offer team or enterprise pricing?
- Yes. Enterprise ($1,999) covers up to 50 designers/devs with lifetime updates. For larger orgs we sign custom contracts and invoice — contact us.
- Can I buy a single pack instead of the full bundle?
- Yes — every pack is also sold individually at $19–$65 depending on the pack size and complexity. The bundle is usually a better deal once you'd want more than 2–3 packs.
Formats & delivery
- What file formats do I get?
- AI, SVG, PNG, Sketch, PSD, EPS, and IconJar — every pack, every format, one download. No format paywalls.
- Are the icons editable?
- Yes. All SVG and AI source files are fully editable — change colour, stroke width, shape, anything. PNG exports come at all common sizes (16, 24, 32, 48, 64, 128, 256 px) and 2× retina variants.
- How do I download after purchase?
- You'll get an account dashboard with one-click downloads of each pack. You can re-download anytime — purchases are lifetime, even after the optional update window ends. See your account.
- Do the icons work in Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD?
- Yes. SVG works natively in Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD. Sketch source files are provided for the symbol library; Figma users drag-and-drop SVGs or use the IconJar plugin. Adobe XD imports SVG with full editability.
Licensing & usage
- Can I use the icons in client work?
- Yes. Both Standard and Extended licenses cover unlimited client projects. Standard caps at 5,000 icons per project (most projects use far fewer). Extended removes that cap and adds resale rights.
- Can I use them in apps or products I sell?
- Yes — but to include them in templates, themes, plugins, or UI kits you sell to end users, you need the Extended license. Standard covers the icons inside apps you sell as long as the icons aren't themselves the redistributed asset.
- Do I need to credit Roundicons?
- Not for premium packs (Standard or Extended). Free packs require a visible credit linking back to roundicons.com.
- Can I use the icons in AI/ML training datasets?
- No — neither license covers AI/ML training datasets. Email hello@roundicons.com if that's the intended use; we negotiate training licenses case-by-case.
Updates & refunds
- How often do you release new packs?
- New pack roughly every month, sometimes faster. Existing-pack updates (additions, refinements) happen as they're ready.
- Do you offer refunds?
- Yes — full money-back guarantee within 30 days, no questions. Email hello@roundicons.com and we'll refund the same day.
- What happens if a pack updates after I bought it?
- Your account gets the update for free during your first-year update window. After that, the new version is included if you renew at $49/yr. Previously-downloaded icons stay yours forever regardless of renewal status.
- Can I share the icons with my team?
- Up to 5 designers/devs under Standard, 25 under Extended, 50 under Enterprise. Seats are per-person, not per-device. Larger teams sign a custom contract — contact us.
Account & downloads
- How do I create an account?
- Sign in with your GetIllustrations account — Roundicons uses the same secure login. Sign in or create an account at checkout.
- Where do I find my downloads and receipts?
- In your account dashboard: purchased packs with one-click downloads, full order history with receipts/invoices, subscription status, and your profile.
- Can I re-download a pack I bought before?
- Yes, any time. Purchases are lifetime and your dashboard always lists every pack you own in every format.
- I forgot my password — what do I do?
- Reset it from the sign-in page, or email hello@roundicons.com.
Editing & recolouring
- How do I change icon colours?
- Open the SVG in Figma, Illustrator or Sketch and change the fill/stroke — or in code set fill to currentColor and recolour with one CSS line. Signed-in customers can recolour and export right here on the site.
- Can I change the stroke weight on line icons?
- Yes — line packs use editable strokes, so you can adjust stroke width across the set or expand strokes to paths.
- Do the icons use a consistent grid and sizing?
- Yes — each pack is drawn on one pixel-snapped grid so every icon shares the same optical weight and aligns perfectly.
- Can I use the icons as a React component?
- Yes — the clean SVGs convert straight to JSX/React components and can be coloured with a prop. You can export an icon as JSX from the inspector.
Tools & compatibility
- Is there a Figma plugin?
- Yes — the GetIllustrations Figma plugin gives in-Figma search and drag-and-drop access to your purchased icons. Sign in with the same account.
- Does it work with Webflow, Framer and no-code tools?
- Yes — SVG/PNG drop straight into Webflow, Framer, Notion and Canva, and there is a dedicated Webflow plugin.
- What is the IconJar file for?
- IconJar is a desktop icon manager that keeps your whole library tagged and searchable, with drag-and-drop into any app. Each pack ships as an .iconjar archive.
- What PNG sizes are included?
- PNGs come at 16, 24, 32, 48, 64, 128 and 256 px plus 2× retina variants.
Free icons
- Are the free icons really free?
- Yes — free to download and use commercially under a simple licence. Browse free packs →
- How are free packs different from premium packs?
- Premium packs are larger, include IconJar + AI source, cover team seats, and need no attribution. Free packs are a great way to try the quality first.
- Do I need to credit Roundicons for free icons?
- Free packs ask for a visible credit link to roundicons.com. Premium packs need no attribution.
Custom icon design
- Do you design custom icon sets?
- Yes — our studio designs bespoke icon systems around your brand. See custom design →
- How long does a custom project take, and do I own the result?
- Typically two to six weeks, delivered in batches. On completion you own the icons and source files outright.
Payments, security & support
- What payment methods do you accept?
- All major cards and PayPal via secure Paddle checkout. You get an emailed receipt instantly and a downloadable invoice in your dashboard.
- Is checkout secure, and do you store my card?
- Yes — checkout runs through Paddle (PCI-compliant). We never see or store your card details.
- Can I get a VAT invoice?
- Yes — Paddle issues a VAT-compliant invoice, downloadable from your account, with your business name/VAT number if provided.
- How do I contact support?
- Email hello@roundicons.com — we usually reply within one business day. Or use the contact page.
About Roundicons
- How are Roundicons and GetIllustrations related?
- Roundicons is the icon-focused brand from GetIllustrations Studio, the same team. An All Access plan on GetIllustrations unlocks everything across both.
- Why choose Roundicons over a free icon site?
- Every Roundicons pack is one coherent family on a single grid, in every format, with a clear commercial licence and real support — so your UI looks designed, not assembled from mismatched free icons.
