Refunds

30 days, no questions.

If the bundle isn't right for you, ask for a refund within 30 days and we'll process it the same business day. The policy below covers what we promise, the few edge cases, and how to ask.

The promise

Every purchase comes with a 30-day full money-back guarantee. Whether you bought a single pack, the Full Bundle, or the Extended license — same policy.

If you're not satisfied for any reason, email hello@roundicons.com within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund the full amount.

No survey, no forms, no "are you sure?" interstitial — we believe in the catalog enough that we trust your judgement.

How to request a refund

Send a one-line email to hello@roundicons.com with your order number (visible in your account dashboard or in the receipt email).

What to write — literally just: "Please refund order #12345." That's enough. You don't need to justify it.

What happens next: we confirm receipt within one business day (usually within a few hours during studio hours) and process the refund through Paddle, our payment processor.

When the money returns: typically 5–10 business days depending on your bank's processing time. PayPal refunds are usually faster (1–3 business days). Card-issuer holds may add a few days for some banks in EMEA + APAC regions.

What gets refunded

The full amount you paid, in the currency you paid. Includes VAT/GST/Sales Tax — those are returned to the tax authority by Paddle and back to you in full.

Exchange rate movements between purchase and refund are not adjusted for — Paddle refunds the original transaction in the original currency.

If you used a Roundicons coupon code, the discount is preserved (you're refunded the actual amount paid, not the list price).

What about the license?

Refund = license cancellation. After a refund is issued, the Roundicons license is void and continued use of the icons requires a new purchase.

Practically: we don't have a way to remotely "unlicense" icons you've already downloaded and we don't try. We trust customers to act in good faith. But the legal position is clear — refunded purchase = no license.

If you've already shipped work using the icons before requesting the refund, please email hello@roundicons.com and we'll work out a fair resolution (partial refund, license retention, etc).

After 30 days

We don't offer refunds beyond 30 days from purchase as a default — but we WILL help you find a use for the icons.

If you bought the wrong tier (e.g., need to upgrade from Standard to Extended), email us and we'll prorate the upgrade.

If a pack updates substantially in a way that breaks how you were using it (e.g., we deprecate a style), we credit your account toward something else.

For genuine billing errors (double charge, charged for a pack you didn't buy, wrong amount due to a coupon bug) — full refund regardless of how much time has passed. These are bugs on our side and we own them.

Edge cases

Bulk-downloaded everything then asked for a refund: still refunded. We trust you. (We also see the download log, so don't fib about why — just say "the catalog didn't fit my project" and we'll handle it.)

Already used the icons in published work: still refunded within the 30-day window. The icons are out in the world; we refund the purchase. Use the email path above for transparency about scope.

Multiple refunds across multiple orders: we'll process them but may decline future business if it becomes a pattern (more than ~2 refunds from the same email).

Chargeback filed before contacting us: the one exception. If a chargeback is opened with the bank without first emailing us, we'll defend the dispute with Paddle and reserve the right to decline future business. Always email first — we're faster and more flexible than the card-network dispute process.

Currency conversion losses: we refund the exact amount you paid in the original currency. If your bank converts at a worse rate on the way back than they did at purchase, we can't reimburse the difference.

Subscription renewals

If you're on the optional $49/year renewal and forgot to cancel before the renewal date, we'll refund a renewal charge within 30 days of it being placed — no questions asked.

To cancel a renewal before the next billing date, manage it in your account dashboard or email hello@roundicons.com.

Cancelling a renewal does not refund prior renewals or affect previously-downloaded icons — those stay yours forever.

EU consumer law

EU consumers have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal on digital goods. Our 30-day policy is more generous; both apply concurrently. For EU customers, the 14-day right of withdrawal terminates only AFTER you download the icons — our 30-day window starts at purchase regardless of download. You're always covered by the more generous of the two.
